Run the Alps
The Hub Chamonix was inspired by three of the core staff at Run the Alp– founder Doug Mayer, Tour Manager Stephanie Lefferts, and Ambassador Mike Ambrose. Thanks to this close relationship, we’re able to access some of the best trail running guides in the region, and around the Alps. Hub Chamonix guests who book a guide through Run the Alps will receive a complimentary Run the Alps buff and a pair of Run the Alps socks– just mention you are staying at The Hub when booking.
Big Mountain Brewing Company
Located in the heart of Chamonix on Avenue Ravanel le Rouge, Big Mountain is the place to hang out after a trail run in the Chamonix valley. Owner Jack Geldard is a friend, and his wife, Emily, is the Assistant Manager for our partners, Run the Alps. Hub guests receive half-off their first beer with their Hub Guest Card. Big Mountain also offers a run as part of their Big Mountain Trail Club, the last Wednesday of every month, which includes raffles and– of course!– Big Mountain beer.
Moody Coffee Roaster
A speciality coffee roaster and cafe located on Avenue L’Aiguille du Midi, Moody is run by our friends, Ian and Georgina. They are experts in their craft, and features some wonderful treats each day, too. Hub guests receive one small, regular or decaf coffee of their choice with their Hub Guest Card.
