Here in Chamonix valley, we may all be in ski mountaineering mode, but behind the scenes at The Hub Chamonix, we’re getting ready for a great summer trail running season, and we have a lot to announce!
What’s new? Well… here’s the update!
*We had an incredibly fun first season last summer. The season was shortened due to Covid, but we nonetheless had a great time with trail runners visiting from around the world, and superb Hub management from our Community Managers Chase and Jordyn.
It was a blast— and it proved our premise, that a supportive, fun trail runner accommodation has a place in the Chamonix valley. In short: The Hub is here to stay!

*We’ve just added online bookings for this coming summer. You can use it right now, here.
*The summer 2022 season will be from June 18 to September 18th.
*The Hub Chamonix welcomes our lead Community Manager, Majell Backhausen. Majell has been trail running around the world for some of the top brands in trail running, racing, exploring, and making all the rest of us smile with his chill vibe, supportive nature, and good spirit. We are delighted he’ll be joining us for the summer! You can follow Majell here.

*Did you know The Hub Chamonix web site is now available in French? Oui, en fait c’est vrai! Thanks to Alexis Rosset for the spot-on traduction.
*Backing up Majell will be Kim Strom. Kim has been trail running in the Alps for a decade now. A talented photographer and writer, she is co-author of the book Run the Alps Switzerland: 30 Must-Do Runs and has trail run and photographed for PatitucciPhoto around the world. She is a frequent contributor to Trail Runner magazine, Content Producer for Run the Alps, and is partners in Alpsinsight. You can follow Kim here.

*We’re excited this year to be working closely with two top brands, Salomon and The North Face. More on those partnerships, soon.
*Look for some special guests at The Hub, during the summer— including… wait for it… some of the top trail runners in the world. No kidding. They’ll be dropping by!
There’s lots more to report, but that’s enough news for now. 🙂
Got a question or an idea for The Hub? Drop us a note any time. We’d love to hear from you!
